hotels hotels and more hotels
my attachment officially starts today and it was quite a long day tho i start work at 10am. the only thing isabel and i did today was to stare at ALOT of brochures and decide to imaginary thin air where we should stick them in order to make them look appealing and attractive. oh ya, i heard more foreign language today than any other language i understand..i'm sure at the end of my 5 months at pan thitsa, i will actually understand burmese! (am i right? not burma, not burmaian right?) whatever, you get the drift.
the office is actually smaller than Sunny Holidays and including isabel and me, there are only 5 pple working. i'm surprised that after only one day, i'm already used to the overpowering indian smell that lingers
everywhere. while i was in the showers just now, i got paranoid cos i thot i smell the
lingering smell in my hair! was so close to washing my hair all over again but laziness got the better of me. oh well, i'm sure its gone by now *winks* oh right! while staring and imagining into thin air today, i noticed men loitering outside the office and looking very very suspicious. it was until after lunch that the shocking realization dawn onto me: the office is next to a sleazy kinky shop that sells
that stuff! and i saw an indian man lurking outside the shop for almost an hour and up till now, i still have no idea what is he trying to look at. ah well! its gonna be a long 5 months!
reading this book called Last Chance Saloon and i'm starting to fear that i might have hodgekins disease :( cos this character in the book had a lump in his neck and he ended up having cancer. now i'm starting to worry about the bump in my neck and tho kaka told me it didn't felt like a lump, i'm still worried. can't wait for my doctor's appointment tmr so i can really find out what's wrong and why does it hurt.
now my grandma's latest fuss is rings and she kept insisting on wearing a ring on her inflamed finger. i worry for my dad's mental health more than hers. argh! my neck and head hurts more now. crap.
Useless fact of the day: In ancient China, people committed suicide by eating a pound of salt.
